AKA 'Butterfly lily' for the large 4-petalled blossoms that truly look like a large moth or butterfly. The powerful jasmine-like scent of its stunning white flowers is ambrosia and will waft throughout your yard. Related to true ginger, the rhizome is edible and medicinal. Gorgeous canna-like foliage in rich green. Full sun to part shade for best flower production. 3-5 feet tall.
